Small guide to choose your dildo

Small guide to choose your dildo

There are so many dildo options...

Before visiting the dildo section of the Jern website, I never realized how many choices there were: vibrant, non-vibrant, double, small or large size, glass, strap on, lark! There is as much variety of dildos as there are pairs of shoes in my wardrobe (no joke, I could fit a whole village, you get the idea). How do we find THE dildo that will make us climb to the 7th heaven? I asked my questions to the Jern.ca team, and, now semi-expert, I've put together this nice little guide that I could also have called "Shopping for a kid's shoe for dummies".

First of all, what is a dildo?

What is a dildo? Well, you can look at dildo pictures in the links below but its purpose is to offer sensations similar to those of the penis during masturbation or sexual relations.

The first dildo would have been discovered in Germany. Dating from about 27,000 BC, it was made of stone (of ROCK your thing!). Thank goodness things have evolved for our comfort!

Now, how do I choose a dildo?

The first question you need to ask yourself is: do I want a vaginal dildo or an anal dildo? For anal stimulation, you'll understand that we prefer a dildo with a longer head, in order to facilitate insertion.

Then, how do you choose your dildo size? For anal stimulation, if you use a strap-on, you should choose a longer dildo, because you have to consider that there will be a pair of buttocks in the way, which will shorten the range of the dildo. You should also consider choosing one with a wider base to insert it into the sling ring.

For vaginal use, it depends on what you like. A longer dildo will provide a deep stimulation of the vagina. To stimulate the G-spot, you can choose a shorter one since this famous hot spot is only a few centimeters from the entrance of the vagina. A vibrating dildo can greatly help to stimulate this area.

There are also different types of materials: realistic, jelly, rubber, silicone, etc. Then there are different textures: smooth, bumpy, ribbed, and different appearances: realistic, uncircumcised (yes, you can have fun uncapping your dildo!), with or without testicles, etc.

And why not push the pleasure to another level by using a glass dildo? I reassure you, it's ULTRA resistant, no danger of it breaking where it shouldn't! The particularity of this type of material is that by running hot or cold water on this dildo, or by placing it in the freezer for a while, and then inserting it inside yourself, the body will contract in order to change the temperature of the dildo, which will have the effect of stimulating the entire body! Wow!

Finally, it's all about comfort and preference. I strongly suggest that you try different types of dildos, you might be surprised at what you discover!

And guess what, you can even clone your favorite penis with Clone a Willy Rubber. This wonderful product will allow you to make your darling's penis your new favorite dildo!

    Cath's dildo suggestions

Being more of the realistic type, here are 3 little gems that I strongly suggest:

If you want a hyper realistic dildo, the SILEXD is a must! Made of super soft and patented silicone skin, it also has a really powerful suction cup, and is thermoreactive. To soften it, you can put it in the microwave or in boiling water, and to harden it, pop it in the freezer!

The SILEXD with vibration is definitely a must if you want vaginal and G-spot stimulation. With the same realistic texture, it has a little extra intense vibration at 10 levels (however, it is not Thermo-reactive).

A small surprise, the EVOLVED, which, despite its modest size, offers a realistic sensation and is, fasten your hat, foldable! Not to make it easier to store under the bed, but to give it a particular shape to change the sensation of penetration.
